About

Financial education that builds ownership.

Wealth Chasers teaches the whole system of wealth accumulation: how money and the economy work, how households create financial capacity, how people acquire businesses, real estate and investments, how taxes and legal structures shape what they keep, and how families pass on both assets and knowledge.

Mission

To make the principles of wealth accumulation understandable and actionable by teaching people how to increase their earning power, build stable households, acquire productive assets, structure their finances, and create lasting economic opportunities for future generations.

Wealth is not simply how much money you make. It is what you keep, what you own, what your assets produce, the risks you can withstand, and what you are able to pass forward.

The founder

Wealth Chasers is founded by William Phelps, whose work has been in finance, business banking, real estate and business acquisitions. That experience is why transaction analysis, reading a seller's financial statements line by line, is one of the site's signature formats.

How this is funded

Everything here is free to read. Wealth Chasers currently carries no sponsorships and no affiliate relationships. If that changes, each one will be disclosed where it appears, and none will come from brokerages, lenders, credit cards, insurance or investment products.

Disclosures

The founder also advises on and participates in business acquisitions. Where a lesson touches that work, the page says so. Nothing on this site is individualized investment, tax, legal, accounting or insurance advice.

What we will not do

  • Tell you what to do with your money.
  • Recommend specific securities, funds, properties or businesses to buy.
  • Publish a statistic without a primary source and a date.
  • Show a success case without the failure case beside it.
  • Promise a result.
